Executive Team
Emma Kong
President/ Founder
Emma is a strong advocate for providing health literacy to young children and parents to improve the lifestyle of our future generation. Emma is also passionate about public health and hopes to continue her passion in her future studies. She works at a preschool in Issaquah and spends her spare time alongside UW undergrads and professors from around the world to learn more about the field of global health. As HERO's president, she hopes to spread her passion and benefit the next generation of healthy children
Saanvi Kulkarni
Secretary/Co-founder
​Saanvi Kulkarni is a student at Skyline High School graduating in 2026. In her spare time she volunteers at Tacoma General Hospital, and aspires to pursue a career as a physician. She looks forward to continuing her passion for medicine as she supports the HERO program as secretary.
Vrinda Manoj
PR Director
​Vrinda is a rising junior at Skyline High School and she's involved in community outreach for the HERO project. She has experience babysitting and being a teacher's assistant. In her spare, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her dog, and going to the gym. She's passionate about the HERO project because it integrates physical and mental health, and education to support children's holistic development. She's looking forward to meeting you and your children as this project begins!
